There is one starting level application for new members: AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP.
Your IAID Membership will help you to gain improved clinical skills, to elevate levels of patient care, to increase patient satisfaction, to get greater profitability.
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
Affiliate Membership is open to all Dental Professionals: Medical Doctors (MD) specialised in Dentistry, Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and to Dental practitioners including Oral Health Therapists, Dental Therapists, Health Therapists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Technicians, from any Country registered at their national or local Institute.

CANCELATION POLICY
- Requests to withdraw from the course must be made in writing no less than 14 days before the start of the course.
- Cancellation fee: is 50% of the entire fee
- No money will be refunded for requests received less than 14 days before the start of the course

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
HOW DO I BECOME AN ACTIVE MEMBER?
Active membership is only open to Medical Doctors (MD) specialised in Dentistry, Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) who has filed an application to the Academy Membership Committee subsequent to having attended as an Affiliate member a minimum of two meetings (i.e. the biennial “General Meeting” or “General Scientific Congress”), taking place at alternative years, in a period of 2 (two) years.
To apply as an Active Member, an Affiliate Member must meet the following requirements:
- must have a qualification for the dental profession (surgeon, specialist in odontostomatology, dentist-DDS and DMD)
- have been an Affiliated member of the Association for at least two consecutive years
- having participated as Affiliated Member, in the biennial Scientific Congress (“General Scientific Congress”), which takes place in alternating years.
In the presence of the above requirements, he is authorized to submit an application to the Academy’s Membership Acceptance Committee.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
The Active Member fee shall be €452 per year.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Active Membership in the Academy is a distinctive honour that is bestowed on a Dental practitioner who has notably contributed to the improvement of the field of Dentistry through education, research, literature or clinical practice.
Your IAID Active Membership will allow you, as any Founder Member, to apply to the scientific committee to give a course at any meeting held by IAID.
Partecipation to the Biennial Congress is included in the membership (free of charge).
